Town Talk at WPL

Town Talk: A gathering of community folks for a sharing of stories, history, remembrances and myths of Wiscasset. All are invited — whether to talk, listen and/or clarify facts about the shire town. Topics can and will be determined by participants. Suggestions of topics and dates for future Town Talks will be welcomed.

Hosts for the initial historical and entertaining discussions will be Steve Christiansen and Judy Flanagan. Town Talk is offered as part of the programing offered by Friends of the Wiscasset Public Library.

The first Town Talk is at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 in the Fiction Room at the Wiscasset Public Library.

Several local citizen with a wealth of knowledge of Wiscasset’s past have been invited to attend: Phil DiVece, Roy Barnes, Dean and Chuck Shea, Ben Rines, Bob Blagden, Nancy Roby and Connie Dalton.
