To honor Edgecomb’s 250th Birthday, Ryan McPherson, owner of Glidden Point Oyster Farms, has invited residents to visit his oyster farm on the Damariscotta River. He will provide free afternoon tours, with an opportunity to learn about how Damariscotta oysters are grown and harvested.

Plan to join friends and neighbors at this celebration of Edgecomb’s beautiful waterfront and its bountiful aquaculture. Oysters and other refreshments will be available.

Date: Saturday afternoon, May 18 (to follow the 2024 Town Meeting)

Tours: 2, 3 and 4 p.m.
