Garden club’s ‘Bridge in Bloom’ project

Did you notice the barrels on either side of the bridge in Wiscasset brimming with flowers this summer and still into the fall?
It is our "Bridge in Bloom" project and members of the Garden Club of Wiscasset were busy planting these. Linda Belmont, president of the GCW worked with the town and DOT to make this area just a little prettier. We had help in watering from Debbie Gagnon and her crew at Red's Eats with a special thank you to Donald “Donny” Aubin III. Thanks go to Frank Sprague of Sprague's Lobster and his crew.
The Garden Club of Wiscasset would also like to thank the Averills of Ames Supply for the donation of trowels to our new members at a tea in their honor held at the home of Sally Gemmill this past September.
