The Hope Haitian Choir is coming to the Wiscasset Church of the Nazarene, 255 Gardiner Road, on Sunday, July 23 at 11 a.m.  

The choir is a group of 15 children who love to sing and dance. They are energetic, enthusiastic and excited about sharing their message of hope in the Wiscasset Church of the Nazarene.  

Barb House of Boothbay directs the choir and has made several trips to Haiti. These kids come to America and sing to raise their school tuition. They sing in English, Creole and French. The songs are a mix of original and familiar. The choir, in a way, is the face of Hope Haitian Ministries, whose missions to speak to America through the faith testimonies, of the children, and give hope to Haiti through spiritual development and helping them with education, food, water, medical supplies and basic needs. The school is planning to add another building this coming year to educate children.
