Fri, 04/08/2016 - 8:00am

Many people know they should plan for their senior years, but they have no idea where to begin. The Lincoln Home is back with one of its popular education series, presenting “An Overview of Senior Living Choices.” The course will be taught by Steve Raymond, producer and host of “Spotlight on Seniors,” and director of Home Care and Community Outreach for The Lincoln Home.

Raymond is a longtime senior care professional, and is a skilled counselor helping families navigate the complexities of older age. The course will cover: An overview of the many types of retirement communities from Brunswick to Camden; Regional costs for retirement communities and for home care; Understanding the language of senior care professionals and how they assess care needs; Creating Flexibility in Care and Living Options as We Age; and Understanding Long Term Care Insurance.

This free seminar will be held Wednesday, April 13, 4-5:45p.m. at The Lincoln Home in Newcastle. There will be lots of time for questions. RSVP is not required. Call Steve Raymond at 563-3350 for further information, or email, steve@lincoln-home.org.
