Lincoln County Republicans will assemble on Saturday, Feb. 17 from noon–4 p.m. at the Great Salt Bay School, 559 Main Street, Damariscotta to affirm support for Republican core principles and to demonstrate continuing support for our president and governor.  Governor Paul LePage and wife, Ann, will be featured speakers and will be joined by Republican candidates for Governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, and the Maine Senate and House Representatives.

Towns from throughout Lincoln County will be represented by local Town Committees and County officials.  Registrars will be on hand to register new voters or to enroll anyone who is currently listed as unaffiliated.  Light refreshments will also be available for attendees.

Candidates for governor who will be represented include Rep. Ken Fredette of Newport, Sen. Garrett Mason of Lisbon, Mary Mayhew, former Commissioner of the Department of Health and Human Services, Shawn Moody of Gorham, founder of Moody’s Collision Center, and Sen. Mike Thibodeau of Winterport. Caucus attendees will have a chance to meet all of the candidates and, at the conclusion, will express their preference for governor in an informal straw poll.
