Scenes from the Twin Villages Art Walk

Tue, 09/19/2017 - 6:30pm

The final Art Walk for the Twin Villages was held on Sept. 16.

Making it a most memorable event were the performers with the Music No Boundaries / Yellow Barn Music Hall, a traveling minstrel show of sorts, featuring violinists, cellists, a viola player, pianist and percussionist. The young musicians – Eric Chin, Joseph Maile, Pei-Ling Lin, Jeremiah Shaw, Greg Breyer and Seth Knapp were SO fantastic shouts of Bravo! and cheers accompanied applause.

At Gifts at 136 visitors enjoyed cheese, crackers, champagne and conversation while perusing the shop’s eclectic wares.

More chamber music lovers gathered to hear the musicians.

The Lincoln Home was decked out in pastel paintings of Edgecomb artist Kim Skillin Traina.

As the sun went down on the Damariscotta River, the sounds of chamber music – and folk rock songs from a nearby restaurant were carried on the breeze ... and into the past.
