“The Florida Project” – Set on a stretch of highway just outside Disney World, The Florida Project follows six-year-old Moonee (Brooklynn Prince) and her rebellious mother Halley (Bria Vinai) over the course of a single summer. Mother and daughter live week to week at “The Magic Castle,” a budget hotel managed by Bobby (Willem Dafoe), whose stern exterior hides a deep reservoir of kindness and compassion. Despite living in poverty, the precocious and ebullient Moonee has no trouble making each day a celebration of life, her endless afternoons overflowing with mischief and grand adventure.

Unbeknownst to Moonee, however, her delicate fantasy is supported by the toil and sacrifice of her mother, who is forced to explore increasingly dangerous possibilities in order to provide for her daughter. Final screening Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m.

“Murder on the Orient Express” - Agatha Christie’s 1934 mystery, Murder on the Orient Express, centers on a group of glamourous gadabouts on a lavish train trip across Europe who all become suspects in a murder committed aboard the train. As an avalanche leaves the Express stranded on the tracks, Christie’s famous detective Hercules Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) miraculously arrives to solve the mystery before the killer strikes again.

The all-star cast, directed by Branagh, includes Director Kenneth Branagh (who also stars as Poirot) interrogating Penelope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Daisey Ridley, Michelle Pfeiffer, Johnny Depp, Josh Gad and Judi Dench.

“Goodbye Christopher Robin” - This film is a rare glimpse into the relationship between beloved children's author A. A. The Bolshoi Ballet: “The Nutcracker” - A holiday tradition for the whole family, “The Nutcracker” sweeps the Bolshoi stage for two hours of enchantment and magic with the classic music of Tchaikovsky in this encore screening, Sunday, Dec 17 at 1 p.m.

“The Nativity Story” - A drama that focuses on the period in Mary and Joseph's life where they journeyed to Bethlehem for the birth of Jesus. Playing Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. A free event brought to the community by the First Baptist Church of Waldoboro.

Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas” (1954) - Celebrate the season with this Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen classic in which a successful song-and-dance team become romantically involved with a sister act and team up to save the failing Vermont inn of their former commanding general. A free event. Playing Thursday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m., and then follow the bouncing ball at 7 p.m. and sing-along!
