Dear Editor:
As a result of a petition signed by 200+ town residents there will be an open town meeting to vote on the town planner position.  The meeting will be held at the Wiscasset Elementary School at 6 p.m.

By voting yes for the town planner's position, Wiscasset will have a dedicated person to assist with the development, regeneration and sustainability of both short and long-term much needed economic growth which in turn will ease our taxes.
