6/10: First Woman to Solo Paddle the Northern Forest Canoe at The Lincoln Home

Event has passed

From her book,“Upwards,” Laurie Apgar Chandler will share the story of her 53 day, 740 mile journey, struggling upstream and racing down flooded rivers churning with whitewater, alone in a small canoe. Chandler shares her uplifting tale of finding the inner strength and faith to achieve a dream, set amidst the rich tapestry of the history, wildlife, landscapes, and people of New England. We welcome the public to join us on Monday, June 10, from 3:00 to 4:00pm in our living room.
