The tiniest schooner coming into Camden

Posted:  Thursday, September 7, 2017 - 3:45pm

That’s the representation of this miniature two-inch watercolor portrait of the Camden Harbor. This postage stamp view of the ocean comes from the imagination of local Mainer Justin Stephens (who as a teen used to work as a hand on the schooner Appledore). He also handcrafted the tiny easel that holds it, along with the palette (the size of a fingernail) and minuscule brush. This art piece in its entirety is one of a kind and when it’s gone, it’s gone.

For only $25. A beautiful little keepsake of your time in Maine and a conversation piece on its own.

Find it at The Red Barn Marketplace in Lincolnville or contact me if you want to reserve it and have it locally delivered or mailed to you.
