Charles Norris selected for North American Print Biennial exhibit

Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty is pleased to announce that one of their featured artists, Charles Norris, has been recently selected for the highly competitive Boston Printmakers 2017 North American Print Biennial exhibit, which will open in Cambridge, Massachusetts in late January 2018. This year with 1,993 entries, 96 were chosen by juror Judith Brodie, Curator of Modern Prints for the National Gallery of Art, for the 2017 show.
Norris’ selected print is entitled “Ghost Pile Variations III” and is currently on exhibit at the Damariscotta office at 170 Main Street.
Charles was also honored to have two other pieces, “Isleford Ebb” and “Dory II”, selected for the past 2015 Biennial. Both of these are in the show as well. By having prints selected for two Biennials, Charles has become an honorary member of the Boston Printmakers, an international society of artists.
Charles shares the show at Legacy Properties SIR with his wife, Diane Charyk Norris. Both artists summer at Popham Beach and the work centers around the Maine scene. The show is open to the public for viewing during regular office hours between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
