Please welcome painter Daisy Greene in the gallery at Bremen Library, 204 Waldoboro Road, on Thursday, March 7 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Ms. Greene, a professional artist and educator, has work housed in corporate and private collections throughout the U.S. as well as abroad.

Well-known to many here in Maine, she says, "...my work is about a journey, a journey for the artist as well as the viewer. In each painting there is always a space to move into, a place for the light to take us...a mystery, an edge, but with promise. Perhaps that is how I live each day...moving toward the light in mystery and promise."
