Family history presentation at Lincoln Home

At The Lincoln Home on Monday, April 30, from 3 to 4 p.m. Helen Shaw, a certified genealogist and past president of the Maine Genealogical Society, will describe how to start a family history by looking for clues in birth, death and marriage certificates; obituaries; newspaper clippings about family activities; school records; baby and wedding books; business papers, jewelry and pins relating to fraternal and other groups.
