Accused murderer Shawna Gatto of Wiscasset had her bail reduced at a bail hearing at Knox County Courthouse on Jan. 25.  She was represented by her attorneys, Phillip Cohen and Jeremy Pratt. She remains at Two Bridges Regional Jail in lieu of $150,000 in cash bail.

If Gatto makes bail, she would be under house arrest, would have to wear an ankle monitor and could only leave home for medical and court appointments. Her next bail hearing is April 23.

Gatto is charged with murder in the Dec. 8 death of her fiancé Stephen Hood’s granddaughter Kendall Chick, 4, of Wiscasset. A status conference is planned for late February.
