Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 2 arrests

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 210 calls for service for the period of Feb. 13 to Feb. 20. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 1,551 calls for service.

Summonses

A 15-year-old female from Pittston was issued a summons Feb. 16 for Operating Vehicle without a License, on Alna Road, Alna, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.

John A. Lucas, 23, of Boothbay was issued summonses Feb. 17 for Violating Condition of Release and Operating after License Suspension, on River Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.

Cainin S. Griffin, 27, of Woolwich was issued a summons Feb. 17 for Violation of Restricted License, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

A 16-year-old male juvenile from Dresden was issued a summons Feb. 17 for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, on Eagle Lodge Lane, Dresden, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.

Arrests

Jeffrey R. Williams, 30, of Bristol was arrested Feb. 15 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Bradley Hill Road, Bristol, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers, who was assisted by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

Brian Williams, 64, of Bristol was arrested Feb. 15 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Bradley Hill Road, Bristol, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.

Accidents

On Feb. 13, an accident occurred on Valley Road in Somerville involving Kimberly B. Peaslee, 30, of Somerville. Ms. Peaslee was operating her 2023 Chevrolet Silverado southbound when a deer entered the roadway from the southbound ditch and was struck. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.

On Feb. 13, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Peter Dalton, 64, of Wiscasset and Brent A. Pratt, 67, of Warren. Mr. Dalton was operating his 2018 GMC Sierra northbound and was attempting to make a left hand turn onto the off ramp connecting to the Mills Road.  Mr. Pratt was following Dalton’s vehicle in his 2024 Toyota Tundra when he struck the flagged aluminum plank that was extending from the rear of Dalton’s vehicle. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
