llustrator explains how children’s books are made

Marcia Sewall, an award winning illustrator, will explain the process of creating children’s books in a talk at the Maine Art Gallery Wiscasset at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 12. The event is free of charge.

Sewall, who lives in Brunswick, has been highly published and her books have twice been listed in the New York Times top ten illustrated children’s books. 

The Maine Art Gallery is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and preservation of painting, sculpture and graphic arts through exhibitions, lectures, demonstrations, and educational programs for children and adults.
