Five years later, he joined the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, first in the jail and later as a transport deputy and court security, for over 20 years. He loved his career, and received numerous awards from the department. He also volunteered at Camp Postcard, helping kids at risk have a summer camp and giving them a chance to see police in a positive light.
