Propagating plants GCW’s topic for May

The next meeting of the Garden Club of Wiscasset will be on May 2 at First Congregational Church, 28 High St. (Fellowship Hall) in Wiscasset. There is a brief business meeting at 12:30 p.m. with the program following at 1 p.m.
We are excited to have John Fromer, program director at Merryspring Nature Center in Camden, who will talk on “Propagating Plants from Cuttings and Other Propagating Tips.” Fromer will have a slide show and demonstration with actual plant cuttings to further our knowledge of proper techniques so we can propagate our own plants.
The program is open to the public free of charge. Refreshments follow the program.
