The next Damariscotta Open Mic at Savory Maine is on Wednesday November 13 and is a benefit for The ElderCare Network of Lincoln County.
Join us for dinner and live music!

Doors will open at 5 p.m. for delicious organic and local food and organic beer, wine, coffee and tea. Refreshments and food will be available for purchase all night and Savory Maine's full menu will be available.

The open mic will run from 6-8:30 p.m., with a 15-minute break. Performer sign up is at 5:30 p.m. The open mic is a series of eight-minute, two-song slots, and is designed for individual or small group performances. Musicians, singers, poets and other performers will demonstrate their talents. This is a great opportunity for the Damariscotta community to hear great music and support a great organization.

Savory Maine will donate half of the proceeds from all sales for the evening to the ElderCare Network. Additional contributions will be gratefully accepted.

The ElderCare Network of Lincoln County, a grass-roots nonprofit organization operating for nearly 20 years, offers a wellness model of assisted living that is the next best thing to staying at home. The seven "Greens" located in Damariscotta, Boothbay, Wiscasset, Waldoboro, Jefferson, Round Pond and Edgecomb are home to 60 residents at any given time. Visit www.eldercarenetwork.org

Each year, ElderCare Network must raise funds to continue to provide our valuable services and programs that are not covered by the State reimbursement formula (MaineCare) that supports older adults on fixed incomes throughout Lincoln County.

For further information about the open mic please call Grace Goldberg at Savory Maine 207-563-2111 or Sylvia Tavares at 207-766-8469. Savory Maine is located at 11 Water St., Damariscotta.
