“Incredibles 2” -  The new hit Pixar Animation Studios computer-animated superhero movie distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, continues for a final week at Harbor Theater.  Itis the sequel to 2004's" The Incredibles" and second installment of the film series.  The plot follows the Parr family as they balance regaining the public's trust of superheroes with their civilian family life, only to combat a new foe who seeks to turn the populace against all supers. The film stars Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell and Samuel L. Jackson, who reprise their roles from the first film, while newcomers to the cast include Huck Milner, Bob Odenkirk, Catherine Keener and Jonathan Banks. The film's score was composed by Michael Giacchino, who worked on the music for the previous film. Written and directed by Brad Bird.

"Once again, the action is fittingly spectacular, the music is great, and the whole thing looks fantastic." - NPR  "Incredibles 2" is rated PG, runtime: 133 minutes. It plays at 7 p.m. through July 5 with a Sunday afternoon matinee on July 1 at 2 p.m.

Talking Art in Maine, Intimate Conversations -  The final guest for the 2017-18 season is Emilie Stark-Menneg, a young interdisciplinary artist working in painting, video and sculpture.  Ms. Stark-Menneg is breaking new ground in the art world. Her paintings are mysterious and fun, and sometimes indecipherable. This is an opportunity to hear from someone who, although living in our common data environment, is painting challenging explorations into unknown realities. She will be in conversation with host, Jane Dahmen. Thursday, June 28 at 7 p.m. Free. 

“Book Club” - Diane (Diane Keaton) is recently widowed after 40 years of marriage. Vivian (Jane Fonda) enjoys her men with no strings attached. Sharon (Candice Bergen) is still working through a decades-old divorce. Carol's (Mary Steenburgen) marriage is in a slump after 35 years. Four lifelong friends' lives are turned upside down to hilarious ends when their book club tackles the infamous Fifty Shades of Grey. From discovering new romance to rekindling old flames, they inspire each other to make their next chapter the best chapter.
