Come on out to the next community supper on Wednesday, Nov. 1 featuring lasagna with meatballs, sausage, soup, salad bar and cake for dessert. November birthdays will be celebrated after the meal. Reservations for this meal must be made by noon on Monday, Oct. 30 by calling 882-8230. Chicken is always available as an alternate entree but must be specified with the reservation.

If you are looking ahead to an early Thanksgiving, then look no further than Wednesday, Nov. 15 when a Thanksgiving turkey dinner complete with soup, salad bar, bread and pumpkin pie will be served. Be sure to make reservations for this meal by noon on Monday, Nov. 13 by calling 882-8230.

December's Wednesday suppers will include pork shoulder served on Wednesday, Dec. 6 and chicken chasseur served on Wednesday, Dec. 20.

To have enough food prepared for those who have signed up for a meal it is important to also know if someone is unable to attend after their reservation has been made. So as a reminder, if you have made a reservation for a meal but are unable to attend, please call 882-8230 to cancel your reservation.

The next “Lunch with Lisa “ is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 30 from noon-2 p.m. This is a monthly lunch and brainstorming session to help figure out where senior recreation is going and what the older people in the community want and need. Also, Silver Sneakers, a program offering free gym membership for older adults through their insurance carriers has been rolled out at the Wiscasset Community Center. The cribbage scores for Tuesday, Oct. 17 were Larry Rines first (825), Della Hilton second (824), Marge Pooler third (823), Arlene Steen low score (744) and a tie for high hand with Marge Pooler and Bob Gillman (24).

The cribbage scores for Thursday, Oct. 19 were Marlene Rines first (836), Stuart Wyman second (817), Marge Pooler third (813), a tie for low score with Ken Colby and Cindy Douglas (724) and a tie for high hand with Pam Frenier and Cindy Douglas (21).
