Join us on Wednesday, Dec. 20 for a presentation on Domestic Violence and Elder Abuse to be given by Mary Hanley from New Hope for Women. The presentation will begin at 6:15 p.m. after the Wednesday supper. Mary will discuss how to recognize unhealthy and controlling relationships, how to respond compassionately and respectfully, and how to refer someone whom you suspect may be in a troubled relationship to the appropriate resources.

New Hope for Women's mission is to offer support to all people in Lincoln, Sagadahoc, Knox and Waldo counties affected by domestic violence, dating violence and stalking, and provides educational resources to assist our communities in creating a safer and healthier future.
