Shinrin Yoku Forest Walks (9:30-11:30 a.m.), Mondays:  June 12; July 10; August 14; Sept. 11; Oct. 2; Nov. 6 & Dec. 4

Discover the health-boosting benefits of moving slowly and mindfully through the forest through a guided Shinrin Yoku, or "Forest Bathing" walk. This guided walk consists of a series of invitations, in which participants slow down and open their senses, while interacting with the natural world. Enhance your health, wellness and happiness during this easy walk that covers less than one mile in two hours. Led by Tracey Hall.

Parents and caregivers: bring your babies, toddlers, and older siblings on a hike with the Boothbay Region Land Trust. This slow-paced, short distance walk focuses on discovery and observation of the natural world. Special emphasis is made on sensory exploration of ecological themes. Free event includes a healthy snack. Bring water and sun protection. Wear clothing that can get muddy. Group meets in the trail-head parking lot.
